Lunar Module
Task 1: Lunar Modules Tasks
Here this document was filled with tasks we had to complete in order. First we had to make a new document and include five station facts about the lunar module.
Task 2:
We had to make a plan / design of what our project would look like and the materials we would be using.
Task 3:
Was to build our Lunar Module Project! Here is my project I have made!
I made my project using different materials. During the process I did make a few mistakes and it did take quite alot of work to do, and I did most of it at home. I also included a few things inside of my model, like a control panel, a bed and a few other things. Overall I'm kind of proud of my project but there would be a few things I would do to maybe improve it. Now what we have to do is too test it by using two lego people (acting as astronauts) and they have to be able to stand inside of it without falling over and we have to drop it in the sand! we haven't done it yet, (due to wet weather) but I'm hoping mine works.
The materials I used:
- Ice cream container
- Tin foil
- Plastic spoons
- Cardboard
- Gold tinfoil
- Random object I found laying in my house (To use for the radar)
- Pipe cleaners
Learning intentions:
For this term we are doing space / solar system work for our topic. We have had to make this project on recreating the lunar module that landed on the moon in 1969.
