Science road show

IMG_1998.JPGScience roadshow
On Tuesday the 14th room left the school at 12:pm  to go to the science road show at the Grey high school. There were two more schools Awahono school and paparoa range. It was called spectacular change.

The first show they did was about microscopes.  They used a bit of paper from a book and put it under the microscope and dropped a bit of water which made the words look bigger and it looked very interesting and cool. Next we were aloud to play around with the experiments across the room. There was a whole bunch of different experiments for everybody to try. My Favourite experiment was the the talking phone which you had to have two people and you can talk to each other in the same spot. You could also change the volume of your voice to make it sound loud or quiet.

After the experiments There was a second show it was about  solid and liquids. They also made oobleck with corn flour and water and food colouring. Next they were volunteering for somebody to help them make elephant toothpaste. Jessie was the volunteer to make it where I was sitting it kind of looked like an elephant it was awesome. It was time for us to leave we left at 2 o'clock.

I have learnt all of the solid and liquids and the chemical reactions I thought it was very interesting and fun. It was my first time doing science and I really enjoyed it.
